American photographer Louise Dahl-Wolfe was born in 1895 and began photography in 1921. From the thirties, in collaboration with Harper's Bazaar, Dahl-Wolfe produced the most incredible fashion photography, in which she captures the true beauty of women and fashion.

As a staff photographer for Harper’s Bazaar, Louise Dahl-Wolfe introduced a witty naturalism to the staid conventions of fashion photography and helped pioneer the use of colour film.
She invented “environmental fashion photography” by instigating open-air shoots in natural lighting.
